Bad Golf for a Good Cause

June 30, 2014

Bad Golf for a Good Cause The Putt Putt Crawl in Rome GA on June 14th raised $2,176 through the efforts of 8 bars and taverns on the square. Jefferson's Restaurant at 340 Broad Street started the promo. Owner Noreen Hullander wanted to honor her father who was former Army and passed away in March. She picked Operation One Voice because of the cause and because of Raymond Sablon telling her of about the organization. With Operation One Voice, the dollars raised go where they are suppose to go, to the families of the wounded and fallen special operations forces soldiers. Special thanks to Raymond Sablon, Wayne Mullinax, and Kevin Ammons for involving Eagle Rock Distributing and making the promotion happen and succeed.

Each bar or tavern had their own version of the a putt putt hole. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed some "bad golf for a good cause". 2015 will be even bigger and better.

Special thank to all participating restaurants:
